I bought the JBL speakers CS6100BG home theater system in my room. Overall I was impressed with the sound quality. Powerful wood subwoofer packs a punch. Install wall brackets from the rear speakers were very simple. It took about 15 minutes. Kit with a permanent installation and adjustment of the rear speakers. I have adjustable mounting brackets. It also comes with wall center speaker channel. One of the product description does not say that this system includes a speaker cable to the 5 speakers and a subwoofer cable to 15 ".Speaker wire is black and # 18 on the meter polarity coding. The only drawback to this system, which is really not a lot, do not include the wood screw is needed to install the speaker. I recommend this system for the bedroom or living room for small and medium-sized /. Large room, take a couple of speakers.

I recently purchased this speaker system, and I have been very pleased with the sound from these speakers. I was unsure if the smaller speakers (compared to the 6100) would have enough power to rock the basement, but these speakers sound awesome. The subwoofer really puts out thumping bass, and I just have it turned up half the way. I paired these with the onkyo RC160, and the results are spectacular. The glossy finish looks cool, but is a dust magnet. This is my second JBL speaker system purchase, and I would gladly recommend JBL to my friends.

This was such a great deal that I went ahead knowing it was probably just functional, not amazing. With these very low expectations, I am happy with it. When I attached my tv using the green/blue/red rca cables i got a pink picture, but found later that you have to select this output in the setup menu for it to view correctly. I am able to connect my cable box and bluray player to the single rca audio input using two cheap rca y adapters for surround sound. The decoder in the unit is able to convert rca to 5.1 channel provided you select digital output spdif/raw in settings (i thought for a while it did not work, but I just needed to change the setting). When I played a 5.1ch dvd on my bluray with rca audio input thru the coby, the sound seemed the same as when I it played directly on the coby player. I can use netflix and pandora on my blueray with audio thru the coby. I plan to use the coby player just for usb/sd/cd music, and save video playback for my blueray. The tuner is a nice back up, but not easy to use. It would probably benefit from better speaker wire for better sound, which just barely fills my 20x20 room. The menus are aggravating and you can only adjust audio settings when the disk is source. Not impressive if you accustomed to top of the line electronics, but certainly good enough for someone like me who had nothing before. No idea how long it will last.
